Obituary of John McCartney

McCARTNEY JOHN Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 19, 2003, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, in his 90th year. Loving husband of the late Margaret McCartney. Beloved father of Joan Gordon and Mic (Ron) Choma. Cherished grandpa of Christine, Trevor (Melanie), Becky, Lexy and great grandfather of Tyrin and Kaeden. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances to Bethlehem Place or Niagara Victim Crisis Support Service would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to express their deep gratitude to the staff at Versa Care and the 3rd Floor staff at the Hotel Dieu Hospital for their loving care and support.
