Obituary of Edison Lambert

LAMBERT EDISON "HOWARD" On Tuesday February 4, 2003 at Linhaven Home, at 87 years of age. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Loving father of Margaret (Patrick) Powers and Louise (Marc) Greenberg and father-in-law of Bob (Lesley) Thacker. He was predeceased by his daughter Carol. He will be sadly missed by his three granddaughters, Cheryl, Jennifer and Jillian and his great-granddaughter Alea. Howard is survived by his brother Terry and sister Vera. Howard, a World War ll Veteran, lived and worked in Toronto as a consulting engineer for many years. He will be missed. In keeping with Howard's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service to celebrate and honour his life will be held at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharine on Saturday February 8, 2003 at 1pm. A Royal Canadian Legion Service will take place immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Andrew's United Church (92 Main St. St. Catharines, L2N 4X3) would be greatly appreciated by Howard's family.
