After a lengthy illness on Sunday, February 2, 2003 at Linhaven. Elvie Ambrous in her 83rd year. Wife of the late Fred, loving mother of Brian and his wife Patti, Pat and her husband Doug Yungblut, dear grandma of Katie and Joe Ambrous, Dan, Mark and Andrew Yungblut, sister-in-law of Peggy Rushton of Portage, Manitoba, Albert and Doris Ambrous of Guelph. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ambrous was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church, veteran of the R.C.A.F. in W.W.II.
Mrs. Ambrous is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Queen Street Baptist Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial Remembrances to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Henley Wing at Linhaven would be appreciated by the family.
