Obituary of Stefan Romaniw

Romaniw, Stefan It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stefan Romaniw in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Ursula for 47 years. Loving father of Bohdan and wife Debbie, Nadia and husband Jerry Hussar. Loving Dido of Michael, Tanya, Nicholas, Oksana and Luke. Will be missed by his relatives in Ukraine. Mr. Romaniw was a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Black Sea Hall and the League of Ukrainian Canadians. Former owner of Carpet Your World since 1969. Mr. Romaniw is resting at the George Darte North Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 10 a.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in St Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville. Visiting Hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
