Julie, Todd and Sarah, We were deeply saddened and shocked when Meredith said that Mrs. Samosh had told Sarah's class that her grandfather had passed away. Every time I saw Fred he had a quick smile and warm greeting. It was evident that he was so very proud and devoted to Sarah. I will certainly miss seeing him around the school yard. With our deepest sympathy to your family, Shelley, Dave and Meredith McDowell

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Junior, to Brenda and the children and grandchildren. To Junior's siblings on the loss of their dear brother. May God be with you all at this most difficult time and give you comfort in the days ahead.
I have fond memories of Junior, as I spent a lot of time with his sister Leona, growing up in River Hebert.
May his soul rest in peace, with Our Loving Father in Heaven.
Love & Prayers from second cousin
Effie from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

So sad and shocked to hear about the passing of uncle Junior. It seems just like yesterday that I was chatting with him at our wedding this past summer in Antigonish. He was always so friendly and easy to talk to. Jennifer and I send along our deepest condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope you can find comfort in the happy memories that you have of Junior. We know he will be deeply missed.

my Visit
Well to make a long story I was working in Ontario when my truck broke down in St.Catherines so I got a hold of Uncle Junior and Aunt Brenda and they invited me to stay at there house until my truck was fixed. My truck was 6 days getting fixed and that was the best vaction I had in along time. I got to spend time with my family and got to meet family that I never met before. They took me to see the GM plant where Uncle Junior worked for 30+ years and also got to see the shipping lanes where Junior and My Grampie Burke worked years earlier and yes the home cooking was awesome. Then the times just sitting and talking and getting advise that meant the world to me. Uncle Junior I can't believe that your gone and I never got a chance to bring you your King Cole tea from the maritimes but I know there's plenty of tea where you are at now with Grampie and Grandma Burke. Love you and will never forget you
