Obituary of John David Carson

CARSON, John David Passed away peacefully on January 4, 2003 at the age of 86, at Chateau Gardens Nursing Home. John is survived by his daughters Beverly and Carl Johnson of Arizona and Doreen Carson. John is also survived by his sister Rita and Bill McVey. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jody (Darren) Purcell of California, Paul Hayes and Brian Beamer of St. Catharines; grandson-in-law Brad Yeckley of California. Lovingly remembered by great grandchildren Jeremy and Garrett Yeckley, Iain Beamer, Jordan and Payton Purcell and twins Ashton and Kyler. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his wife Ann (2000), by his brothers Edward, Everett, Lorne and Stan and sisters Elsie, Helen, Edna and Mable and granddaughter Cheryl Yeckley. John is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 11:00am, where a service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel. Rite of committal at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
