Obituary of Sylvia Helen Keiwan

KEIWAN SYLVIA HELEN (nee Zuk) On Saturday, December 28, 2002 at Foothills Hospital Calgary Alberta. With family at her side, Sylvia passed away peacefully in her 53rd year after a lenghty illness. Beloved wife and best friend of 29 years to husband John. Cherished daughter of Paraskewa (Pearl)and the late Juryj (George) Zuk (1991) of St. Catharines. Dear sister of Natalie Kania and her husband Richard of Toronto, Robert Zuk and his wife Carolyn of Stoney Creek. Dear sister in law of Jo-Ann Keiwan of St. Catharines. Adored Chocha of Jennifer, Robert, Matthew, Scott and Erin, and Godmother to Jennifer, Matthew and Tara Lynn Swartz. Sylvia is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 8:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:00am.Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:00pm. Memorial remembrances to the Kidney Foundation of Niagara or the Lupus Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
