Obituary of Laura Sandham

SANDHAM, Laura Marie (Campbell) After a courageous battle in St. Catharines on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 in her 38th year. Beloved wife of Ken Sandham and devoted mother to Blake and Riley (at home). Dear daughter of Joan Campbell and loving sister to Julie Campbell and brother to Greg (Donna) Campbell. Dear grand daughter to Mary Walker. Dear daughter-in-law to Gwen Sandham and sister-in-law to Bev and Tony St. Louis and Glenna and Al Baylis. Laura will sadly be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father Gary Campbell and father-in-law Albert Sandham. Laura was very active at the St. Catharines Curling Club. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Yanni and Dr. Kerley (both Niagara Health care specialists), Dr. Gerstein and Dr. Clark (both from McMaster Health Sciences), the Blood Disorder Clinic at McMaster, the Niagara Pain Management Centre (Connie), the Town of Lincoln (Cathy, Troy, Bruce), the Niagara Catholic District School Board (Kim, Paul, Larry, Father John, Teresa and Kathy) and our special friends Kathy, Mike, John and Kim. Also to all our other many friends and family for over the past year who have helped us in so many ways or who have just been there, Thank you and God Bless you. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday and Friday, 7-9pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Laura's life will be held at the chapel on Saturday at 11am. A private interment is planned. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Remembrances to a trust fund for the Sandham children or Dreams to Memories would be appreciated by the family.
