Obituary of Jonas Dervaitis

Dervaitis, Jonas After a short illness, on Thursday, November 28, 2002 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in his 90th year. Loving husband of Kunigunda for over 64 years. Beloved father of Edmund, and Donna. Proud Tevukas of Dr. Kristina Lee, Daniel, Amanda, and Rebecca. Mr. Dervaitis was a retiree of Ford, Oakville. He served as an active member of the Lithuanian Tautos Fundas. Mr. Dervaitis is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where the family will receive friends on Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Lithuanian Martyrs Church, 2185 Stavebank Rd., Mississauga on Monday at 11am. Rite of Committal will take place at St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3pm. Memorial remembrances to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
