Obituary of Stella Lewicki

Lewicki, Stella Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at the Shaver Hospital in her 85th year. Beloved wife and loving soul mate of John Lewicki for 67 years. Dear mother of son Zanon (Dan) of Thorold and daughter Mary of St. Catharines.Stella is also survived by 2 brothers in the Ukraine and many nieces and nephews. Stella was a longtime resident of St. Catharines and previously farmed in Grimsby. Stella is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 9:30am. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30pm. If desired, donations may be made to St. John's Ukrainian Church Building Fund or Shaver Hospital Foundation.
