Obituary of Dorothy Monchak

Monchak, Dorothy Peacefully with her family by her side at Extendicare on Wednesday, November 19, 2003. 88 years of age. Loving wife of the late Stephen (1986). Beloved mother of the late Helen, Vera & her husband Zenon Taras, and Christine & her husband Brian McKillop. Proud Baba of her grandchildren Greg (Pat) Taras, Natalie (Romeo) Wowrow, Patricia (Tim) Hrycusko and to her great grandchildren Talia, Adriana, Kalyna, Kristen, Noah, and Kayla. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Sam Gregor, Ernie Gregor, Peter Gregor, Bill Gregor, Mary Dick, and Anne Gregor. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Monchak was a member of St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Mrs. Monchak is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Saturday where Funeral Liturgy without mass will be celebrated at 10am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:30pm. Memorial remembrances to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
