Obituary of John Dermot Barry

BARRY, John Dermot Passed away on Friday November 14, 2003 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 62nd year surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved husband of Lynne Barry (nee Cornwall), cherished father of Peter and Paul Barry, Stacey Mullholland, Michael Alexander, and loving grandfather of Lukas Barry. Sibling of Norman, James, Peter, Paul, Robert, Jackie and Sandy. Predeceased by his parents Mathilda and Dermot Barry all of Dublin, Ireland. John had a long and successful career in the automobile industry, retired at age 60. He was an avid soccer, golf and tennis enthusiast.A heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff in the ICU St. Catharines General Hospital. John is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines until Tuesday at 11:00am, where a Funeral Liturgy without mass will be held in the chapel. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
