Obituary of Hendrika Maria Wight

Wight, Hendrika Maria- passed away peacefully at the Sheridan Villa, November 1, 2003 at the age of 79. Loving wife of the late Wynand Wight. Beloved mother of 6, Mathilda and John (predeceased) Jeffery, Robin and Jane from Mississauga, Nick (predeceased) and Cathy Wight and her partner John Beaudry of Port Colborne, Pat James and Allan Anderson of Mississauga, Angel and David Hingston of St. Catharines, Al(Sandy)and Debbie Wight of St. Catharines. She will be sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also missed by brothers, Ted and Willy Rietveld of St. Catharines and Tom and Margaret predeceased) Rietveld of Fonthill and 3 sisters and one brother in Holland.The Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Alfred's Church Wednesday, November 5 at 11am. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. Monday and Tuesday, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the George Darte Funeral Chapel Tuesday at 3pm.Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation(local chapter) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
