Obituary of Bruce Pitkethly
PITKETHLY, Bruce
Peacefully, on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 84th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret and sisters Peggy, Ruth and Betty. Dear father of Robert James and his partner Carol Ramm. Brother of Douglas (Jean) Pitkethly. Uncle of Cameron (Marion), and their three daughters Erin, Amy and Katie, and uncle of David (Pat) Warwick.
Bruce was a pilot in World War II with the RAF, and met his wife-to-be in Africa during those turbulent years.Longtime member of the Queenston Golf Club where he met and enjoyed the company of numerous friends.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Bruce's life on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 382 Queenston St. (Queenston Manor) from 6 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St.
