MARANO NICOLA (Nick) On Saturday October 24, 2003 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at 72 years of age. Beloved husband of Rosa. Loving father of Tony and wife Pina and the late Rosemary. Cherished Nonno of Alissa and Andrea. Dear brother of Angelo (Domenica), Gaetano (Lucia), Salvatore (Rita), Antonia (Nicola) Alaimo, Giuseppa (Giuseppe) Mazza. Dear brother in law of Carmela (the late Angelo) Agnino, Franco (Rita) Mazza, Angelo (Lucia) Mazza, Vincenzo (Lucia) Mazza, Rosalia (Calogero) Zambito, Salvatore (Franca) Mazza, Maria (Battista) Venditteli. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Rosa Marano, sister Vincenza and brother in law Francesco DeCaro. Nick will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mr. Marano is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 9:30amFuneral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 10:00am Entombment in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill.Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 7 pm. Visiting hours are Sunday 7-9pm and Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Leukemia Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
