Obituary of Frank Fresu

FRESU, Frank Peacefully on May 18th at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 83. Devoted husband for 50 years of Giovanna and much loved father of Rita (Scott), Rosie (Vincenzo) and the late Nick (1993). Dear Nonno of his only grandson Niki. Also survived by his sister Nicoletta Congiu of St. Catharines and Paolina Fresu of Italy. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Frank's family will be receiving visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, May 22nd from 7-9pm and Monday, May 23rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, May 24th at 9:30am. The Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday at 8pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
