When Maxime visited us in British Columbia, we met a fine young man. We wanted you to know that we join in your sorrow.
Memories keep those we love close to us forever in our hearts.
Although words seem to say so little, I hope they help in some small way to ease the loss you are experiencing.
We made some memories of our own with Max, however short the time.
Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
God Bless from the friends he made on the West Coast.

Dear Oncle Alain, Aunt Joanne and Krystel,
I cannot begin to express how deeply Maxime's passing has affected us. He truly was a courageous person, a fighter until the end. His time with us was too short. But he is in a better place surrounded by both his grand-fathers and family who are all watching over us now.
I will never forget the three summers that I had the chance of babysitting him and Krystel. They sure kept me busy! He grew into a fine young man.
Oncle Alain, Aunt Joanne and Krystel - we are all here for you to lean on, a shoulder to cry on. Never forget that your family and friends love you and are here for you.
Maxime, you will forever be in our hearts. You are now with my guardian angel watching over us. Love always,
Ginette, Sean, Andrew & Brianna xoxo

My parents and I were heartbroken after hearing about your tragedy. Although I was very young at the time, all my memories of Maxime were happy and I always looked up to him while we were your neighbours. Your family and Maxime are regarded by my family as one of the nicest group of people we know and Maxime will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family in your time of sorrow.

Heyya Max,
You could light up a room, and stop people in there tracks, I think it was the smile. Just in general you were quite possibley one of the friendliest and non-judgemental people I knew, though I didn't know you half as well as I would have liked. If what Jimmy tells me is true, I missed out. I love you, and miss you...See you on the dark side of the moon.

Know that Max is in a better place now. And remember to not mourn a death, but celebrate his life. He will always be in my thoughts and my heart and my prayers are with you.
All my love,

Maxime was like a little big brother to me and I miss him very much. The whole time Maxime was fighting the cancer I was stuck up in Thunder Bay and feel horrible that I couldn't be with him when he needed friends the most. I will always remember him like many others with lots of laughs and good times.
Lots of love to his family, they are great and always welcomed me into their home with open arms. Thank you. Sorry I couldn't be down there, but I'm thinking of him always and he'll always be in my heart.
