Obituary of Theodore Gerald Fauteux

FAUTEUX, Theodore (Ted) - passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on May 19, 2011. Ted was in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Louise Fauteux (1989). Loving father of Gale Ouellet, Ted (Susan), David (Laurie), Judy (Allan) Service, Lindy Devine and Penny (Trevor) Potter. Cherished Papa to grandchildren Melissa Salter (nee Senese), Natasha Kohl, Erin Fauteux, Daniel Fauteux, Tom Service, Emily Fauteux, Andrew Potter, James Belknap, Kyle Potter and Kim Service and great grandchildren Finn, Hartley, Trinity and Ashlyn. Ted will also be sadly missed by his sister Norina. Predeceased by his brothers Elmo and Nelson and his sisters Thelma, Adrienne and Jeanne. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and close friends. Ted was an active member of the community; St.Catharines Sportsman of the Year in 1986, General Manager of the Jr B Falcons Hockey Club for 12 years and spent many years heavily involved with the CAW Retirees Centre. His family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL on Monday, May 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May 24 at 10 a.m. Donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or the Local United Way will be appreciated by his family.
