Obituary of Nell Koopmans

Koopmans, Nell Peacefully at home with her family on Wednesday, August 13, 2003. Nell Koopmans 88 years of age; Wife of the late Jan, loving mother of Gonnie Christie, Bart Koopmans, Leni DeRose and the late Richard Jodoin (June 4, 2003), the late Nelly Koopmans (1940); dear Oma of Dwayne and Sandra, Trevor and Penny, Scott and Joanna and great Oma of Justin, Matthew, Austin, Jesselyn and Dylan, survived by her sister An VanRooy and other family and friends in Holland and Canada. Mrs. Koopmans was a member of St. Alfred's Church. Mrs. Koopmans is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. where a Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to the Dr. Sandra Hartman Palliative Care or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
