Obituary of John Reginald Hoadley

Hoadley, John Reginald Sr. (October 1, 1928 - July 12, 2003)Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines general Hospital in his 75th year. Loving husband and best friend of 53 years to Marjorie (Barton). Devoted and loving father to Maryanne (Ray) of Thorold, John (Cathy) of St. Catharines and Jo-Anne (Hugh) of LaRonge, Sask. very special grandpa to Melissa (Matt), Scott and Kendel. A proud great grandpa to Kendra and Kali.He will be deeply missed by twin brother Bill(Everly), Carol (Bob) Lomano and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Mary Anne, brother Ron and sister Irene Anderson.John was employed by Domtar Fine Papers for 35 years, retiring in 1988. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Dr. Kim, Dr. Pallie, Dr. Rose and the staff of the I.C.U. Dept. of the St. Catharines General Hospital.
