Obituary of Eva Florence Hoffman

Hoffman, Eva Peacefully, on Wednesday June 25, 2003 at Meadows of Dorchester Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Howard Hoffman (1917). Survived by three daughters; Mrs.Mae Rose of St. Catharines, Mrs. Ethel Smith of Williamsville N.Y., and Mrs. Mildred Branscombe of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, predeceased by her sisters; Mrs. Violet Tebble, Mrs. Lena Hoak, Mrs. Ruby Carmer, Mrs. Roy ( Phoebe) Lutz, and Mrs. Beatrice McIntosh, and her brothers Russell, Matthew and Frank Henderson. Also predeceased by her sons-in-law Whitey Smith, Ed Rose, and Frank Branscombe. Mrs. Hoffman is resting at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Friday at 11:00am, with a reception to follow in the church hall. Visiting hours are Thursday 6:30-9:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to St. Giles Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
