Our family was blessed to be next-door neighbours to John for many years. His interest in the children and their activities was a source of support to us. We were impressed by his many "projects" borne of his engineering genius. His wish to live independently inspired us and occasionally brought a smile to our faces. Our condolences to Philip in St. Catharines and his family in Ireland
