Bachert-Lathby, Cole RyanCole left suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at home in his bed at almost 4 years of age. "Best buddy" of his daddy Craig and his mommy Beth Ann, loving big brother of Jade, she will miss his kisses and hugs, beloved grandson of Herbie and Effie Bachert (Grampa and Baba) of St. Catharines and Alan and Heather Lathby (Nannie and Poppie) of Perth, Western Australia and great grandmother Nana Trout, dear nephew to Ang and Mike Bachert, Kylie and Jason Lathby-Cook, Melissa Lathby, will be lovingly remembered by cousins Ashley (Iya), Cory, Jessie, Brodie and Roman. Cole was a member of the Play Pals Group at the Y.M.C.A. and he also attended Speech Services Niagara. Cole loved life and lived it to its fullest. In Cole's words he was a "very lucky boy". He loved swimming, bike rides, gardening, camping, and playing "I got it". He was our Circle of Life. Cole is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held in Orchard Park Bible Church, 434 Hunter Rd., Niagara-on-the-Lake on Monday at 11 a.m. Please join us following the service for fellowship. Memorial Remembrances to the Ronald McDonald House, Hamilton or the Epilepsy Foundation would be appreciated by the family. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who have shown us support and just being there for us and sharing our sorrows.
