Obituary of Phyllis Glaab

GLAAB PHYLLIS (1932-2003) On Wednesday May 14, 2003 God received a knock at his door. When he looked down he saw Phyllis standing there looking rather impatient. The doors opened and the mist that had been there since March 3rd suddenly lifted. Looking around with her sparkling eyes wide and cheery, she saw God was having a surprise party for her. Delighted to see all those who she loved, that have passed, all gathered there to celebrate her life. A sudden realization came across her face. "I have died" This fear quickly faded into the joy of knowing that she can still look in on all of us who she loves and who loves her. So when you find yourself thinking of Phyllis know that she is right beside you listening, caring, and sharing. all that she was in life. She will be sadly missed by her husband Al, her daughter Amanda her son in law Brett, her little angel Katrina, family in England, extended family in Sudbury, Sarnia Toronto and numerous friends. Phyllis is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. where a service to celebrate her life will be held at on Monday at 11:00am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30. Memorial remembrances to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
