Obituary of Alex Bruce Watson

WATSON, Alex Bruce May 3, 1929 - May 13, 2003 Gone to be with the Lord, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Joan. Dear father of Sharron (John), James (Penney), Michael, and Betty (Rick). Dear brother to Betty Kane, Agnes Bernier and Shirley Glazier. Grandfather to Zachariah, Jeremiah, Rhiannon, Allan, Amber, Adele, Jennifer, Jillian, Richard, Matthew and Melissa. Great-grandfather to Laura-Lee, Tyrel, Christopher, Cameron, Courtnee, Alexis and Alex-John. Predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Worked at St. Lawrence Seaway for 33 years and was one of the first hard hat and scuba divers. Alex is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held at Central Gospel Temple on Friday at 11:00am. Rite of committal at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the funeral home and Friday at 10-11am at Central Gospel Temple. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Central Gospel Temple.
