Obituary of Marion Healy

HEALY, Marion (nee McLaughlin) Peacefully at Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines, on May 8 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Denis Healy, former treasurer of CNR in Montreal. Daughter of Mary and Daniel McLaughlin. Predeceased by her brothers Clair, Harold, Paul and Kenneth McLaughlin. Survived by her dear sister, Madeline (Mickey) and her husband Robert Shepard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marion was past-president of St. Mary's Auxiliary and founder and past president of the Father Dowd Home Auxiliary, both in Montreal. She was a former parishioner of St. Julia's Church, St. Catharines. Family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday May 9, from 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 8:00pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia's Church on Saturday, May 10, at 10:00am. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may by made to the Hotel Dieu Hospital, in St. Catharines.
