BARCZYNSKI STANISLAW (Stanley) April 20, 1920 - June 20, 2004 It is with great sadness but understanding hearts that we announce the passing of Stanislaw Barczynski, peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Father's Day, Sunday June 20th, 2004, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of 56 years of Martha, dearly loved father of Linda and her husband Peter Hamstra of Kingston and Peter of St. Catharines. Dearest Dziadzi (grandfather) of Michael, Laura, Bryan and Larry. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters in Poland. He is survived by his half brother Tadeusz, of Poland, sister-in-law Maria Zilken, and several nieces and nephews in Germany. Mr. Barczynski was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, an active member of the Canadian Polish Society and long-time member of Plumbing and Pipefitting U.A. Local 666. Mr. Barczynski worked for many years as a plumber at Janzen Plumbing and Heating Ltd. prior to his retirement. A man of great integrity with a generous spirit, Stanley lived his life with courage, strength and conviction. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Barczynski is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 11am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 11:30am. with rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
