Obituary of Guy Joseph McKey

McKey, Guy Joseph: November 15, 1952 - April 27,2004 Passed away at home ,surrounded by loving family. Sadly missed by wife of 31 years ,Kathy (Dobbelsteyn), children Patricia, Gordon, Kimberly, Kathleen and Guy Jr. and grandson Ethan. Dear son of Gordon and Joan McKey, son-in-law of Mary and Joseph Dobbelsteyn and much loved brother of George (Faye) Francis, Mary, Paul (Joan) and Teresa (Jim Wilson). Guy will be sadly missed by many Nieces and Nephews. Guy was a licensed automotive machinist. He and his family owned and operated McKey Engines Inc. for the last 15 years. Guy was well known for his love of stock car racing. His dedication, integrity and quality workmanship will be long remembered and sorely missed by his many friends and competitors in the racing community. Guy is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton St. until 10:30 am Thursday morning. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm .Vigil prayers will take place at 7:30 pm Wednesday. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church Friday at 11:00am . Donations in Guy's memory may be made to The Hamilton Health Sciences
