I did not know Scotty that well, I wish I had gotten a chance to know him better. I remember whenever I was with Scotty, you could always feels the energy and life that was him. He was always very friendly to everyone he encountered, including me. I am sure now that Scotty is at peace, and well taken care of. He is probalby smiling down upon his family, and friends, and doing what ever he can to help in our lives.
I hope that Scotty's family and dearest friends can focus on the joy that he brought to all of you,and be comforted from knowing that his spirit, who he really is, is still alive and doing very well. May God bless all of you, and keep you well.

My deepest sympathies go the the Lamont family on the passing of Scotty. He was one in a million and will certainly be missed by the many people who came to know him. We'll probably be getting to bed a little earlier during our sales meetings without Scotty there; he had a way of keeping us up way past our bed times with his wit and stories.
So long Scotty, may you rest in peace.

Just a note to say that we're thinking of Scotty and you folks at this sad time. During this past week my mind has flashed to the many business trips Scotty has made to Red Rock. As I write this I can see and hear Scotty reciting "The Cremation of Sam McGee" at a dinner we had with Joe, Scotty, and many other Weavexx folks at the Quebec Lodge in Red Rock a few years back. Scotty may not be around but we have memories that we can keep forever.
Take Care.

I've known Scotty for almost 25 years and over those many years drank a few pints, made a few jokes, had a few discussions and almost came to blows a couple of times, but I always thought of Scotty as a worthy and honest competitor in business and felt that he was also a good friend.

I don't know if you will remember me but I had the pleasure of meeting you Fran & your husband through my ex-husband David Harrison (who used to work for Dominion Stores) back in the late 1970's. I recall having visited your house on Carlton Street near the Canal Road when your little John was a wee child. Now he's all grown up. I didn't realize that John Sr. was ill and only read the obituary column this morning. My deepest sympathy to you Fran and your son John.
