Toll, Verena Alice
Loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully at the Shaver Hospital on Tuesday March 9 in her 72 year. Predeceased by her husband Elmer Samuel (August, 2003), her parents Verna and George Flood and her brother Curtis. Lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters Steve Toll (Linda), Sue Scriver (Larry), Karen Koz (Dave Tieche), Tim Toll (Pierette Stephenson), 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters Georgina Laycock (Jack), Betty Wiltink (Henk), Peg Fedorowski as well as many brother and sister-in-laws. Verena was a member and past Senior Regent of the Woman of The Moose, Chapter 640. At Verena's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Verena will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 11 am at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family will receive friends on Friday March 12 from 2-4 and 7-9. Memorial remembrances to the Palliative Care Unit through the Shaver Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to thank the staff of the Shaver Hospital, especially the nurses on 2nd floor west for their care and compassion.
