Obituary of Joan Diane Sutton

Sutton, Joan Diane After a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at theToronto Grace Hospital, in her 70th year. Predeceased by her parents, Bill and Rosa Sutton. Survived by her good friend Bruce Groh of Etobicoke, her sister Barbara (John) Bell of St. Catharines and her brother John (Sandra) Sutton of Prince George B.C. Loving aunt of David Bell of London and Diane Bell of St. Catharines. Special Godmother of Johnathan Pritchard.Joan is remembered for her many years of dedication to teaching gifted children and for her love of horses. At Joan's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Joan's life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines on Saturday, March 6 at 1 pm. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 2 hours prior to the service. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
