Obituary of John Hanycz

Hanycz, John At home on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 with his family by his side. Loving husband of the late Sophia (1979). Beloved father of Olga & her husband Bryan Magwood, Walter & his wife Marika Hanych, Lesia & her husband Bohdan Szczurko, and Bill & his wife Diane Hanycz. Proud Dido of his grandchildren Michael, Lorissa, Greg, Daniel, Matthew, & Andreeko, and of his great grandson Brendan. Mr. Hanycz is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Saturday at 9am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 6:30-9pm. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7pm. Memorial remembrances to the Children of Chornobyl would be appreciated by the family.
