Obituary of Freda Snowling Turner
SNOWLING TURNER, Freda
Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3rd at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 93.
Predeceased by her first husband Leslie Snowling (1974) and her second husband Maurice Turner (2003). Dearly beloved mother of Susan (George) Brooks of Ahmic Harbour, ON and John (Janet Johnston) Snowling of St. Catharines. Dear step mother of Stuart (Wilma) Turner, Mark (Marie) Turner and Arlene (Bill) Cleland and their families. Cherished Nana of Kimberley Brooks, Christopher (Norina) Brooks and Lesley Snowling and great Nana to Camrynne and Julien. Dear sister of John (Blanche) Walton of Oakville, Sheila (the late George) Granger and the late Alice (Eddie) Cadger. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins in England. Freda was a member of the First Grantham United Church and had worked as a realtor for many years.
Freda's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday, June 7th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at First Grantham United Church, 415 Linwell Road on Wednesday, June 8th at 11am. Burial to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
