Obituary of Dyck Catherine
DYCK CATHERINE Peacefully at home, with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer, in her 67th year, on Tuesday January 27, 2004. Beloved wife of Robert. Loving mother of Jim and his wife Patti, Stephen of Toronto and Paul of Vancouver. Cherished "Gran" of Julia and Alison. Dear sister of Michael (Jean) Owens of Scotland. Predeceased by her brother James Owens of Scotland. Catherine was a volunteer of the Out of the Cold Program and the daily Breakfast Program. Also a dedicated R.N. and member of the Sewing Group. Catherine always enjoyed the wonders of nature on her daily walks.Catherine is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St until Friday at 10:30am Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 11:00am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the St. Catharines, Hotel Dieu Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by the family.The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to Margaret, Myrna, and Dr. Sandra Hartman.
