Obituary of Jeffrey David Wilson

WILSON, Jeffrey David- Passed away with his loving family by his side on Saturday, June 4th, 2011 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Theresa for 32 years. Cherished father of Tara (Jason) Kohut and Jason Wilson (Heather). Loving Papa of Avery Jane and Brenden. Special brother of John (Sheila), Jerry (Karen), Joe (Yvonne) and Dave (Briggitte). Jeff is predeceased by his father David Wilson, his mother Carolyn Wilson and his younger brother Jamie Wilson. He will be sadly missed by many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeff was a volunteer Port Dalhousie Firefighter for 16 years as well as an avid birdwatcher and a life long "Port Boy". The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at St. Catharines General Hospital I.C.U. for all their care and compassion. Jeff is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Tuesday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Star of the Sea Parish on Wednesday at 11a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to The Canadian Wildlife Federation would be appreciated by the family.
