Obituary of Eugene Petit

Petit, Eugene, Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital surrounded by his family on Monday December 29, 2003 in his 96th year. Beloved Husband of Marie-Louise for 71 years, Dear Father of Marcel (Lucienne), Paul (Therese), Jacques (Rolande), Andre and Jeannine O'Malley, all of St. Catharines and Germain (Viola) and Gerald (Rosanna) of Fauquier-Strickland. Eugene will be greatly missed by his 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Petit is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. , where the family will receive friends on Thursday, January 1st, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Eglise Immaculate Conception, 99-101 Garnet St. St. Catharines, on Friday January 2nd, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Vigil prayers for Eugene will be held Thursday, 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Eglise Immaculate Conception would be appreciated by the family.
