Obituary of Ignazio Castelli

CASTELLI, Ignazio Peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2003 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 93rd year. Loving husband of the late Gina (1996). Dear father of Carmela (Bernardo) Franciamore, Alfonzo (Teresa) Castelli, Luigi (Maxine) Castelli, Rosario, and Rosalie. Cherised grandfather of Josie, Ginette, Gina, Mary, Angela, Lia, Lisa, Debbie, Ignazio F., Ignazio C., and Mark; and 16 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother-in-law Francesco, his niece Lia Conzonieri, his nephew in Windsor, Luigi Rivolta and many relatives in Canada and Italy. Mr. Castelli is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:00pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
