Obituary of Ethel Rodgers

Rodgers, Ethel (nee Williams) Class of Mack 1953 Peacefully in her sleep, after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Linhaven Home for the Aged at 72 years of age. Loving wife of the late Joseph. Beloved mother of Robert, Paula-Jeane and husband Kenneth Murphy of Toronto and James and wife Cathy Christmas of St. Catharines. Dear grandmother of Alexander and Brian. Dear sister of Helen, of St. Anthony, NFLD & Hettie of North Sydney, NS; and David & Frank of Pool's Cove, NFLD. Predeceased by brother Vincent Williams of Merritton. Ethel is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Monday at 10:00am, where a service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Alzheimer's Society or Linhaven Home would be appreciated by the family.
