Obituary of Benvenuta Cortese

Cortese, Benvenuta- Passed away suddenly at the age of 75. Loving mother of Joseph and Susan of Oshawa and Mary Cortese of St. Catharines. She will be sadly missed by her dear grandchildren Marina, Amanda, Cara, Kyla and Matthew. Beloved sister of Gino and Albert Artuso. Will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all her loving friends. The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., Monday, December 15 from 7 to 9pm, and on Tuesday December 16 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 3pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at the St. Alfred's Church Wednesday at 3pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
