Obituary of Mary Dorothy Patricia Miller

Miller, Mary Dorothy Patricia Peacefully in her 85th year, at Niagara Arms Retirement Residence in St. Catharines, on December 6, 2003. Daughter of the late Frederick A. Miller and Patricia Miller. Sister of Bill (Rita) of St. Catharines, Marguerite (Mrs. Paul Morrison) of Toronto, Fred (Anne Marie) of Ottawa, and Emily (Mrs. Ralph Beck) of Northridge, Connecticut. Predeceased by her brothers, the infant Robert (1921) and John (1996). Mary was a graduate of the University of Toronto (1946). Her work experiences ranged from the solemnity of the law, the liberating ambience of Northern Ontario mining and finally the "family" stability of Ontario Hydro. After a fall in her home in June of 2001, Mary went to live at Niagara Arms, where she encountered a very caring Doctor Joseph Wakil who, with his dedicated support staff made her last days comfortable and her transition to the next world easy. A family memorial mass was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and Mary's ashes will rest in her parents plot at Mount Hope Cemetery in Toronto.
