Uncle Paul, Melanie, Michelle & JP:
I know you already know how important and strong aunt sue was to everyone who knew her. I'll always remember when she would take me to the chrismas store or we would go driving and get some fudge or go shopping together. I was always so amazed when she took me to work with her; it was just like a movie. She knew everyone, everything, and was extremely passionate about it. I will always have these memories along with the plays and the dishware shopping experiences that I had with her...my godmother. I have complete adoration for her and she will forever be in my heart. I LOVE ALL OF YOU, take care, and see you soon.

Mr. Pharand, Melanie, Michelle, John and Jean- Paul,
I found this poem and I thought I would leave it for you. I find the words to be quite comforting and my hope is that it will do the same for all of you. It seems to me to be something that Suzanne would say. Mike and I are here for all of you, no matter what you may need.
All our love,
Sarah and Mike
I'M FREE
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I am following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or play...
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy,
a friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow,
I wish to you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one touched.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free!!!

Paul, Melanie, Michelle and Jean-Paul - We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Sue was one of a kind. She was always there for anyone who needed anything at all. She always had the answers and suggestions to be of help at any time. She was a hands-on kind of lady - even going so far as to take out the chain saw herself to cut the hole in the diningroom wall in order to have the sliding patio doors she always wanted! Nothing stopped her. She was a determined, thoughtful, caring, loving woman who loved you all with every fiber of her being. Anyone who knew her, knew that. We loved her deeply and will miss our conversations. Please try to remember that she will always be with you.

Uncle Paul, Jean-Paul, Melanie, and Michelle:
My heart is breaking for all of you. Though I only met Aunt Sue a few times in my life, she was always kind, giving, and loving to me. I admire her because she managed her pain with such grace and dignity. I will always remember her laughter, and the affection she had for you, Uncle Paul. It was clear to see that she loved each of you so much. Know that all of you meant the world to her, and that you made her so very proud. Take comfort in each other. I will be praying for you.

Paul, Jean-Paul, Melanie, and Michelle:
Just the mention of Sue's name will always bring a smile to my face. Sue was full of life, spunk, humour, and love. Despite the many obstacles that I saw her face, she remained strong and positive. There was nothing that she wouldn't do for her family or friends. As Melanie said, she was a woman who other women can aspire to be. I am so grateful that I had her in my life. I know she will continue on in so many hearts.

If you are reading this you knew my mother either as an acquaintance, close friend or family member. My mother was an extraordinary person with more strength and courage than you could ever imagine. She helped so many people and never asked for assistance or complained no matter how much pain she was in. I was blessed to have her in my life and will miss her forever. She will always be with me in good times and bad. She is no longer in pain, no longer suffering and safe from anyone who could harm her. I am grateful I am a true reflection of her not only in appearance but also in every way imaginable. If one day I could be half the woman she was and that would make me an amazing woman just like her.
I love you mommy!!
