Obituary of John Albert Kruise

KRUISE JOHN A. After a courageous battle with lung cancer, John passed away at the age of 79, on Friday, January 7th, 2011, at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, Ontario. He will be sadly missed by his beloved and adoring wife, of 37 years, Mary (nee: Damiano) Loving father of Johanna and her husband the late Ron McLeod, Tom and wife Louise. Dear grandfather of 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his first wife Aaltina. John immigrated from Holland in 1949. He was the original owner of Kruise and Pullen Travel and Upper Canada Travel. A memorial service to celebrate John†™s life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St on Monday January 17th, at 11 am. A private family inurnment will take place at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorial donations to Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia or Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto would be appreciated by the family.
