Obituary of Robert James Purdie

Purdie, Robert James Suddenly as the result of an accident on Wednesday, October 13, 2004. Robert Purdie in his 42nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Cathy, loving father of Dylan (Vanessa), Catharine, dear grandfather of Alyah Marie, much loved son of Robert and Alberta Purdie and son-in-law of Bertha McDowell, dearly loved brother of Judi and Ralph, Sandy and Melissa, dear brother-in-law of Patricia and Terie Mumby, Lynn McDowell, James McDowell. Will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Robert is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or Friends of Algonquin Park would be appreciated by the family.
