Dear Sheila,
As you know, Vic and I were friends from our very early years in Cherry Tree, PA.I have known Vic for about 58 years. As an only child, I appreciated being accepted by his parents and his siblings as if I were a part of his family.Several months ago I told Vic how important he and his family were in my life and I am very glad I did so.
My wife Barbara met Vic 4 years ago and thought he had a larger-than-life personality. She loved him as did I.Vic will surely be missed by both of us.

Dear Aunt Sheila and Family,
Uncle Vic was the kind of guy that cheers up your day, no matter what was going on. Although I only met him a few times, and really only once in recent memory, he is a person that you will never forget, no matter how long you live. I am so glad that we got to spend time together recently because without that, my memories of Uncle Vic would have been from years ago. He had me laughing from the moment I stepped into your house until dad and I left. He was without a doubt one of the sweetest people that I have ever met, and it goes without saying that it has been a privilege to have known him. We love you Aunt Sheila, God Bless You, and rest in peace Uncle Vic, we love you and will miss you dearly.
All of our love,
The Fettermans

Dearest Aunt Sheila,
These comments are from e-mails from Lin to me which I want to share with you:
"I remember when we went to Niagara Falls for their wedding...what a fun time we had! Uncle Vic was all about fun and being positive and he was such a sweetie. Both kids just loved him. I know when Victoria came back from your cousin's funeral she mostly talked about Uncle Vic. I am so glad that Alex got to see him in April and see him where he loved to be...near the golf course! He was a lovely man and I feel privileged to have known him. He really loved Sheila...she is a dear sweet lady and I feel so badly for her.
Victoria was so upset about Uncle Vic that she was crying and wanted to talk. She read Uncle Vic's eulogy to me and then cried some more. It's beautifully written and he would love it! I think she will be okay by the time you get there. I really wish I could go. I loved Uncle Vic and I wish I could be there...I am just glad that Victoria is going with you. I think Alex was very upset. He just adored Uncle Vic too...who didn't? I know he was looking forward to visiting him while at FSU."
Aunt Sheila, I received my birthday card in the mail yesterday with the top shelfer enclosed...I think you put that card in the mail. Thank You!!!
Can you believe what word was prominent on the card? You said it when I first saw you Friday night, SPECIAL! I heard it said over and over Friday and Saturday about Uncle Vic. He truly was SPECIAL to all the lives he touched. We were blessed to have him with us as long as we did.
We all love you and our hearts filled and our arms are open to hold you up. And if we grow weary...God is holding all of us in his hands.
Much love always,
Victoria, Alex, Kristen, Lin and Flip
