Obituary of Tom Cook

Cook, Tom - Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, August 13th., 2004. Loving husband of Betty of 51 years. Devoted father of Richard and Kate, Aileen and John, and Tom and Lisa. Proud Papa of Marisa, Jenna, Katelyn, Mitchell and Cameron.Tom was born February 7th, 1933, in Kelty, Scotland, emigrating to Canada in 1963. He was employed at G.M. for 32 years, retiring in 1997. He was a founding member and Past President of the St. Catharines Scottish Club and Past Master of Adanac Lodge #614.The family will receive family and friends on Monday, August 16th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Tuesday, August 17th at 11:00am at St. Giles Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzhiemer Society or Tender Wishes Foundation.The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the caring nurses of the St. Catharines General Hospital.
