Obituary of Daniel Shugan

SHUGAN, DANIEL: It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Dan in his 90th year on Sunday, July 11,2004, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Anne (1995). Father of Nancy Verdegem, beloved grandfather of Lorrie Verdegem, Robert Verdegem and Debbie Pow (Brian), beloved great-grandfather of Jairus Pow and Bryan and Bryce Verdegem. Dan will be missed by his brothers William (Nellie) Shugan, Joseph (Anne) Shugan and sister, Nancy (Shugan) Bauz and special friend Zora Zason. Predeceased by his brothers, Michael Shugan and Steven Shugan. Uncle Dan will also be missed by several nephews and nieces. Friends are invited to call at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday July 13, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the charity of one's choice.
