Obituary of Giovanni (John) Petrucci

Petrucci, Giovanni (John) in his 84th year, on Wednesday June 30th, 2004, at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Loving husband of Filomena. Loved father of Carmel (Lucio) Fratangelo, Maria (Vince) DiBiasi, and Teresa (John) Zupancic. Special Nonno of Maria, Flora, Nick, Tina, Vincent, John James, and Kristen. Also survived by his brothers Ascanio and Giuseppe. Predeceased by his sister Marta. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by family and friends. We will always remember him sitting under his Walnut Tree, watching his tomato plants grow. Giovanni's family will receive family and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, July 3, at St. Alfred's Church at 10:45am. Rite of committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Vigil prayers will be held on Friday, July 2 at 3:30 pm at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
