Obituary of Francesca Tota

Tota, Francesca Sudden and peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at St. Catharines General Hospital in her 79th year. Loving wife of Vito for 50 years, much loved mother of Joe Tota and Angela and Nick DiPietro, most loved and cherished nonna of Tania, Cameron and Robert. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Angela, Maria, Pasquale, Alessandro, Claria, Nicola and Incoronata, survived by her sister-in-law Joanne Damiano and brother-in-law Rocco Portanova. Dearest sister-in-law of the late Giuseppe (Filomena) Tota, the late Teresa (Frank) DiPietro, Carmine and Maria Tota, the late Michele (Josephine) Tota. Survived and loved by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tota was a member of St. Alfred's Church. Mrs. Tota is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 1:30-3:30 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. If so desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She was a much loved Wife, Mother and Nonna and she will live in our hearts forever.
