Obituary of Maura Ellen Taras

TARAS, Maura Ellen On Tuesday, March 1 2005 at Greater Niagara General Hospital. Maura Taras 82 years of age, dear wife of the late Bill (1978) , loving mother of Marie and Vince Sutton, Steve and Bonnie Taras, beloved grandma of Kathy and John Zeppieri, Michael and Danielle Taras, loved great grandma of Crystal, Ryan and Rebecca all of St. Catharines. Maura worked as a department manager at Towers Department Store for 31 years retiring in 1991, was a member of St. Alfred's Church and a former founding member of the CWL of that parish. Maura is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., where her family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers for Maura will be held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 11:00 am. Cremation. Memorial remembrances to Development and Peace or the Canadian Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
