My condolences to all of Walters family in their loss. I was a caregiver for Walt during his residence at Haddon Hall and Westpark. He was very fortunate in having such a caring and loving family. He looked forward to those fresh baked cookies! May you take comfort in your memories.
sincerely, Sharon W.

We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Walther's passing. The memories of a child always being made welcome, still comfort us today. Also as young parents of boys, they got to meet them too,and enjoy time at Haywood Street.
Of course he always kept us busy, while Aunt Mignonette supplied the fudge. We never remember one without the other.
All our love for these and more precious memories.

To my loving Grampa. My best fishing buddy, soup buddy and fellow insurance comrade. Grampa always had a big smile and a twinkle in his eye and loved us all unconditionally. As a child we picked berries, made wine, cooked endless meals, went to the cottage, fished, played cards, scared away bears, and had lots of bonfires. Grampa would put me on his shoulders and off we would go to visit all the aunts and uncles. Gramma and Grampa took me to church every Sunday all through my childhood until I got married. We must have driven Grama nuts all day Sunday until dinner was ready. Grampa loved his family and he was the happiest when everyone was with him at home or at the cottage laughing, talking, teasing and sticking our heads in every pot on the stove. This continued as we grew up and began to have our own families. Everyday was an adventure when you were in the car with Gramps. As I got older Grampa painted, fixed, repaired, bought Christmas hams, made and delivered soup and continued to contribute to my life and the lives of Kaitie and Ryan. If something needed to be fixed, Grampa was there with the toolbox ready to go. Of course, the price for all repairs big or small would be a scotch and a sandwich and a kiss and a hug. We love you Grampa and will miss you always.
Love always, Tracy

Friday night poker games, visits to Haywood St. and stories of delivering bread from behind a horse drawn wagon. These are but a few joyful memories of Uncle Walther that quickly pop into my mind. He lived for his family and that love has left a standing legacy. Thank you for the many years of joy you have given us. May you rest in peace.
To the wonderful immediate family he has left behind, my prayers are with you, now as always.
Your loving niece,
Mary Ann
